Interactive Mathematics Portal

The purpose of this portal is to advance mathematics education on university and high school level. It is also one of the ways in which Aalto University participates to the Finnish LUMA Centre. These pages are also the joint front page of several projects concerned with e-learning and interactive digital study materials in mathematics.

Some of the portal features require user authentication. You can login to the portal by using user name and password provided by any organization that is part of the Finnish Haka federation or VHB.

Introduction to university mathematics course

Aalto University Department of Mathematics and Systems analysis organizes in collaboration with German Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern a course called

ABC: Approach to the Basics of Calculus - Zugänge zu den Grundlagen der Analysis

Course material is available both in English and in German. The course is aimed at high school students who are near their graduation.
